Canada Snowboard – With less than a hundred days to competition, media are advised that accreditation is now open for the Big White 2017 World Para Snowboard Championships (Kelowna, British Columbia) taking place from 1-8 February 2017. Media are invited to send in their accreditation requests by filling out the online form here: www.paralympic.org/bigwhite-2017/media.

The competition will be the biggest and most important Para snowboard event in the world in 2017 and comes just over one year ahead of the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games.

Over 100 athletes from 25 countries across the globe will compete in snowboard-cross and banked slalom in men’s and women’s SB-LL1, SB-LL2 and SB-UL classifications.

Information about media accommodation and lift passes is also available at the above link. Media members have until December 1, 2016 to book their rooms at a discounted rate.
