2017 Canada Summer Games – 2017 Canada Summer Games transitions from week one to week two of competition

WINNIPEG (August 5, 2017) – Winnipeg, Gimli, MB, and Kenora, ON said good-bye to 2,000 athletes from week one of the 2017 Canada Summer Games today as the Host Society and Co-Hosts prepared to roll out the welcome mat for 2,000 more of the finest young athletes from across the country.

Over 1000 volunteers are working alongside Host Society staff to facilitate the transition at every level of operations: on the field of play, at the Athlete’s Village and at the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport.
