ISU World Cup Long Track Speed Skating in Calgary, December 1-3, 2017
Speed Skating Canada – Calgary, October 2017 – Speed Skating Canada and Calgary’s Olympic Oval are inviting media representatives to apply for accreditation for the ISU World Cup Long Track Speed Skating to be held at the Olympic Oval in Calgary, December 1-3, 2017.
The competition will feature the best long track speed skaters in the world in this Olympic season, all looking to qualify quota spots for their country and achieve time standards on the fastest ice in the world in Calgary for a chance to compete at PyeongChang. Canadian skaters, to be confirmed later, will look for the same, some of them even looking to pre-qualify for the 2018 Olympic Games by winning a medal in Calgary or at another World Cup.
Media representatives who would like an accreditation for this World Cup can do it now by filling out the online form at http://www.isu.org/media-accreditation-system. Deadline for application is Sunday, November 19, 2017.
