Canadian Paralympic Committee – OTTAWA – April 3, 2017 – Some of Canada’s most accomplished Paralympic athletes, coaches and builders will be in Ottawa this Friday, April 7 for the 2017 Canadian Paralympic Hall of Fame and Sport Awards ceremony.

A group of five uniquely accomplished individuals were announced recently as the Canadian Paralympic Hall of Fame inductees for 2017.

Media are invited to interview the class of 2017 inductees during the reception before the ceremony, and to capture photo and video throughout the reception and ceremony.

Along with the Hall of Fame inductions, the ceremony will present the Canadian Paralympic Committee Sport Awardsfor outstanding athlete performances at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, as well as excellence in coaching at both the high performance and development levels. Sport Award recipients will be revealed during the ceremony.
