BC Rugby – The warm weather has finally arrived and it’s bringing a bunch of wonderful rugby events.  This weekend sees a whole host of fixtures across both 7s and XVs including HSBC Women’s Canada 7s, the BC Bears taking on a Canada squad, and the BC High School Girls’ Provincial Championships.  From local tournaments to international showdowns, we’ve got you covered for your rugby fix as the summer starts to shine through! HSBC Women’s Sevens Series to Light Up Langford This weekend will see the HSBC World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series return to Vancouver Island.  With an average of 150 tries being scored per round, this year’s series is proving to be a truly captivating sight.  It will also be the first time Team Canada has competed on home soil since their superb, bronze medal winning performance in Rio 2016.  Safe to say, we are expecting a very vocal welcome when they step on to the field.

Canada currently lie just two points behind second-place Australia, so there is still plenty to play for in this penultimate round.
