Football Manitoba – Enjoy Football? High Performance Sports? Community Relations and watch the neighbors kid, or your own, become the next big football star?

 Football Manitoba is seeking volunteers to assist with duties at our major annual events! Specifically, the Elite Blue & Gold Games held May 28th, 2016 at the Investors Group Field, 315 Chancellor Matheson.

Join us for a variety of positions within our high performance tournament for the Rural All Star Game, High School Senior Bowl, U-16 Manitoba and U-18 Manitoba Games.

Positions include:
Loading Dock Check-In
50/50 Sales
Team Marshalls
Program and Merchandise Sales
Experienced Stick Crew
Fan Appreciation Crew

Loading Dock Check-In (requesting 2 Volunteers, 3 Time Slots)
 
1st Shift (2 volunteers) – 8:30 am – 12:00 pm
2nd Shift (2 volunteers) – 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
3rd Shift (2 volunteers) – 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Be a face to greet special attendees, athletes, coaches, volunteers. Provide directions to volunteers and teams. Distribute event passes. Further details available.

50/50 Sales (requesting 2 Volunteers, 4 Time Slots)
 
1st Shift (2 volunteers) – 10:00 am – 1:00 pm (Rural All Star Game)
2nd Shift (2 volunteers) – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm (Senior Bowl)
3rd Shift (2 volunteers) – 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm (U16’s)
4th Shift (2 volunteers) – 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm (U18’s)

Selling 50/50 tickets, handling cash, proper ticket management. Help with clean up after game. Lots of movement and flexibility in terms of location. Wear comfy shoes!

 Team Marshalls/Water & Ice Retrieval (requesting 2 Volunteers, 3 Time Slots)

1st Shift (2 volunteers) – 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
2nd Shift (2 volunteers) – 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
3rd Shift (2 volunteers) – 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm 

Organize & direct teams to their respective dressing rooms & field locations, ensure dressing rooms are clean after use, refilling water bottles & filling coolers with ice at each bench before games & at half times

Fan Appreciation Crew (requesting 2 Volunteers, 4 Time Slots)

1st Shift (2 volunteers) – 10:00 am – 1:00 pm (Rural All Star Game)
2nd Shift (2 volunteers) – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm (Senior Bowl)
3rd Shift (2 volunteers) – 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm (U16’s)
4th Shift (2 volunteers) – 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm (U18’s)

Pick up and prep. Old Dutch Chips. When cued by announcer during Third Quarter throw out chips to fans or aid FBMB Staff in promotional activities.

2nd Shift (2 volunteer) – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Experienced stick crews needed. Best seat in the house!  If you have to ask what your job is, we won’t need you!
