Football Canada – Ottawa, ON (June 19, 2018) –  On the heels of the most recent announcement of the new partnership with T.Litzen Sports and Nike Team, Football Canada is pleased to announce a standardized flag football program for leagues across the country.

Geared for athletes between the ages of 4-18, this program includes coaching content and programming that has been developed by experts.

“Programs have a turn key solution to help develop young football players and to help increase participation,” Executive Director Shannon Donovan said.  “The objective of this is to provide standardized and easily accessible programs that introduce people to football.”

“There are so many benefits to this partnership that will elevate our organization, especially the flag program to the next level.”

One of the benefits of the Football Canada Flag Football Program is that it provides an avenue to introduce athletes to the sport by developing and enhancing football specific skills through an inclusive and fun experience.

Additionally, it gives an opportunity for athletes in a safe but low-cost environment.

To help programs participate in the branded flag football program, T.Litzen Sports and Nike Team have put together a one-stop shop for flag equipment and apparel.

“Team Litzen is excited in the launch of our NEW flag online store,” commented Vice President Matt Litzen.  “Our national deal with give clubs coast to coast bigger buying power and huge savings.”
“This is the first phase in growing our partnership with Football Canada and there are lots of good things to come!”
