October 20, 2016 – The PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games are fewer than 16 months away and Canada’s athletes already have their sights set on the top of the podium. “As Canada’s Olympic Network, we know how passionate Canadian viewers are about their Olympic athletes and we want to fuel that passion 365 days a year, not only during those two weeks every two years – Road to the Olympic Games does that,” said Greg Stremlaw, executive director, CBC Sports, and general manager and chef de mission for CBC/Radio-Canada’s coverage of PyeongChang 2018. “Canadians love to root for teams and athletes with compelling back stories and the TV show and our digital platforms provide that extra layer of coverage that takes our audiences beyond the field of play and into the lives of the athletes year-round.”

The new season of Road To The Olympic Games begins with world-class competition from Skate America, the first event on the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating 2016 calendar.
