Adam Hall (London, ON) was hit by a pitch to reach as the first batter of the inning and stole second before Naylor walked.

-The juniors fought back to tie the score with two runs in the sixth. Rhys Cratty (Langley, BC) led off with a walk before Matthew Coutney (Wetaskiwin, AB) singled to left to put runners on first and second. After a strikeout, Denzel Clarke (Pickering, ON) walked to load the bases to set the table for Dondrae Bremner (Toronto, ON) who drove the first pitch he saw into centre for a two-run single.
