Curling Canada – Canada’s acclaimed elementary school curling program is excited to announce that Canadian egg farmers are extending their support of the Rocks & Rings program through to 2022.

This announcement comes as Egg Farmers Rocks & Rings presented by Curling Canada prepares to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the program in January 2019.

That’s right, we’re turning 10!

“This amazing milestone is one we are very excited to celebrate with both Canadian egg farmers and Curling Canada,” said Chad McMullan, owner of Rock Solid Productions Inc.

“When we started in 2009 with 20 schools I could have never imagined the growth of Rocks & Rings — we now visit more than 1,400 schools annually! We are proud to continue our mission of delivering fun and interactive curling programs to Canadian youth with the support of our great partners.”

Since its inception in 2009, Egg Farmers Rocks & Rings presented by Curling Canada has reached close to 1.5 million students, bringing curling education and activities to students in their own school gym.

Canadian egg farmers have been a proud sponsor of Rocks & Rings for two years and their continued support through the next Olympic quadrennial ensures egg farmers will continue to play a vital role in keeping students across Canada active and healthy.

“We are ecstatic to continue our support of the Rocks & Rings program,” said Scott Graham, Chair of Egg Farmers of Ontario. “We are committed to being a part of the healthy lifestyles of Canadians, making the partnership with Rocks & Rings a perfect fit. We’re proud to fuel this program with egg power and look forward to continuing to keep Canadian students active.”

In the first 10 years of the program, Rocks & Rings reached students from coast to coast. With the continued support of Curling Canada and Canadian egg farmers, Rocks & Rings is pleased to share the sport with more Canadian children, including the introduction of Rocks & Rings Tournaments nationwide this season.

“We are looking forward to celebrating the amazing 10-year milestone with Rocks & Rings this school year,” said Brodie Bazinet, Curling Canada Foundation Manager. “The Rocks & Rings program gets youth involved with curling at a grassroots level and as the official national sport partner we are thrilled to be a part of the program’s continued growth.”
