Diving Plongeon Canada  – Competitions will run from November 9-12 in Gold Coast, Australia

Ottawa, November 11, 2017 – Diving Plongeon Canada is pleased to announce its team that will represent the country at the eighth and final Grand Prix of the season, November 9th to 12th, in Gold Coast, Australia. This competition also serves as the 2018 Commonwealth Games diving test event.
 
Team Canada in Gold Coast consists of:

Celina Toth will be returning to the Grand Prix in Gold Coast after winning a silver medal on platform in 2015. Since then, the 25-year-old has collected several more podium finishes on the international scene, including two medals at the 2017 FISU Games, making her a strong medal contender on 10-metre.
 
Teammates Ethan Pitman, a 2017 World Championships team member, Tyler Henschel, a 2017 FISU Games silver medalist and Peter Thach Mai, a 2017 Madrid Grand Prix gold medalist, are rounding out the four-member team.   
 
Cesar Henderson (Brossard, QC) and Tommy McLeod (Victoria, BC) will coach the Canadian team in Australia. Gord Peterson, from London, ON, has been appointed to judge at this FINA Diving Grand Prix.
