Applications are now open for Team BC Hockey Coaching Staff Positions |
Wednesday, January 15, 2020 – The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council (I·SPARC) is seeking qualified individuals from across BC to fill select vacancies for Team BC’s volunteer staff for the 2020 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC) being hosted in Regina, Saskatchewan from May 9 – 16, 2020.
Team BC is accepting applications for roles within both the Female and Male team. There will be one Head Coach, two Assistant Coaches, one Team Manager and one Team Trainer for each team. While these are volunteer opportunities, travel expenses will be covered. The Provincial Indigenous Hockey Committee will oversee the selection process for these positions.

About the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC)
The NAHC provides a forum for elite Bantam/Midget age Aboriginal hockey players from across Canada. The event aids in fostering cultural unity and pride and celebrates the athletic abilities of Aboriginal athletes from across the country. Team BC is represented by ONE MALE team and ONE FEMALE team which comprise the top bantam/midget aged players from across the province.
