Canoe Kayak Canada invites you all to an evening of entertainment, and celebration of the official opening of the Canadian Canoe Museum: Skimming the Surface exhibit hosted by Commodore Madeleine Hall.

Join fellow CKC alumni at the Upper Deck – Beer Garden and viewing area for a casual reception during the last hour of races on Friday, including the famous Black Trophy race, and extending until 5pm.

This is a chance to connect with fellow CKC alumni and join an initial discussion on how we can all stay connected to the sport we love.

We invite you to join us to be part of the Junior Women’s C-4 500m Island Canoe Club Trophy Presentation on August 26th at the Canadian Sprint Canoe Kayak Championship, immediately following the race at 1:50 pm. We will assemble beforehand at the medals area around 1:30pm.

The trophy presentation will double as a celebration of all of you, who never gave up in pursuing equality for Women’s Canoe, and dedicated so much to the sport through your efforts off and on the water.

Canoe Kayak Canada and WOD will be honoring our National Team Athletes that have decided to start a new chapter in their journey.  This event helps recognize their hard work, their dedication and their achievements that these incredible individuals have had while being on the Canadian National Team.
