CanoeKayak Canada – Thank you for your feedback and your willingness to help CKC build an alumni program that we believe will better serve you. We had an overwhelming response from our community – you’ve spoken and we have listened.

We are pleased to announce that Leslie Anne Dempster will Chair the newly created CKC Alumni Council. Under LA’s leadership, this council will come together for the first time at the 2017 Summit to begin work on drafting a mandate for the council, as well as working on a program that will better serve our alumni. We are currently in the process of working with LA to invite members to join the council and will officially announce the entire CKC Alumni Council in November.

To kickstart the new CKC Alumni Council, we are inviting you to join us for an alumni reception in conjunction with our 2017 Summit on Friday, November 17th.

Tickets are free, but required – please register here.

We are looking forward to sharing a social evening with alumni across all disciplines. In addition to a great social event, we will be sharing some of the results from our alumni survey, and will be introducing our CKC Alumni Council members to attendees. All alumni are invited, whether or not you are attending the Summit.

Please stay tuned for more information regarding upcoming alumni events in your region. Our goal is to ensure that we have a national reach and engage with as many of you as possible.
Hope to see you at the Summit!
