Canadian Interuniversity Sport – First of its kind under Canadian Interuniversity Sport new leadership.

TORONTO (CIS) –  Canadian Interuniversity Sport is proud to announce the 2016 Annual Meeting, to be held June 6-9 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto.

John Furlong, executive chair of the Vancouver Whitecaps and former president and CEO of the Vancouver 2010 Organizing Committee (VANOC), Anaheim Ducks Strength & Conditioning Coach Mark Fitzgerald and Nigel Melville, CEO of USA Rugby will address delegates from all 56 member institutions.

“On behalf of the board and our entire staff, I am excited to host my first CIS Conference Annual Meeting,” said CEO Graham Brown. “We are looking forward to an informative and engaging conference for all our members in the new hometown of our national office.”

Furlong will lead a discussion Monday about building organizational success through organization change, while Fitzgerald will present an interactive demonstration Tuesday on utilizing technology to foster a high performance environment within university athletic programs. Melville will deliver the keynote address at the CIS Awards Banquet Wednesday evening.
