In celebration of World Teachers’ Day today, the Canadian Paralympic Committee is pleased to announce the availability of enhanced educational materials, helping educators bring Paralympic sport and inclusiveness in to the classroom and gym.

Originally launched in 2014, the world-leading Paralympic FUNdamentals Physical Literacy Resource has been updated to include vibrant videos of activities, more interactive layout and features, as well as a video introduction by Chantal Petitclerc.

The Paralympic FUNdamentals Physical Literacy Resource is available online at education.paralympic.ca for free to educators across Canada.

The resource provides teachers with creative, fun, and inclusive activities that expose students to the four parasports of athletics, boccia, goalball and sitting volleyball. Each lesson plan is designed to be simple to use for all children, with and without a disability.
