BC Sports Hall of Fame  – In the spirit of BC Family Day and the 6th Anniversary of the 2010 Olympics, the BC Sports Hall of Fame is challenging families to help us celebrate our 50th Anniversary by attending our Red Mitten Weekend event on February 6, 7, and 8, 2016.

 

At this event, families will have the opportunity to learn about British Columbia’s history through artifacts and enjoy the benefits of physical activity through our interactive sports games and activities including:

 

  • Playing ping pong on the table from the Vancouver 2010 Athletes’ Village!
  • Getting a photo holding a real 2010 Olympic torch, while standing on the 2010 Olympic podium from BC Place!
  • Breaking a sweat in our Participation Zone where they can rock-climb, run, and try hockey shootout skills!
  • Watching highlights of the 2010 Games on our big screen!
  • Entering a draw for a free one-year Family Membership to the BC Sports Hall of Fame!

 

When:            Saturday February 6th, 2016 through Monday February 8th, 2016

Time:              10 am – 5 pm

Place:          BC Sports Hall of Fame, Gate ‘A’ of BC Place Stadium at Robson and Beatty Streets

Cost:            FREE admission for youth 12 and under wearing red mittens
