Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada – OTTAWA, ON – Finishing the tournament with 8 medals and one course record, Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada is pleased to congratulate our Canadian athletes on a very successful 57th Nautique US Masters, Callaway Gardens, Georgia, May 27-29, 2016.

By invitation only, the US Masters is one of the most prestigious events of the season. With their sights set on capturing a coveted Masters win, the Canadians dominated on the water.

In Junior Masters action, fourteen-year-old Neilly Ross claimed her second Masters Junior Women’s Tricks win breaking her previous course record with a score of 9,920 points, followed by Paige Rini who claimed a third place finish.

In slalom action, Paige Rini claimed a second place finish, with Jaimee Bull taking third.

In Junior Women’s Jump, great conditions saw Dominique Grondin-Allard take the title jumping 142 feet (43.2m).

Competing in all three events and scoring consistently earned Paige Rini a second place finish in the Junior Masters Women’s Overall title.

In Men’s action, in a heated final round of Men’s Slalom action, Jason McClintock and Stephen Neveu, both finished at 4 @ 39, with Jason capturing third, based on his prelim performance.

In a tightly fought Men’s Jump final, Ryan Dodd finished second, jumping 233 feet (70.9m), just edged out of the win by Freddy Krueger (USA) flying 233 feet (71.1m) for the win.
