Canadian Cross-Country Ski Team Holds Media Availability Heading into World Cup Finals
Cross Country Canada —National squad to meet media in advance of official training, March 16, at 9:30 a.m.—
QUEBEC CITY—Fresh off competing at the World Championships, Canada’s National Ski Team will meet with news and sports media prior to official training for the FIS Cross-Country World Cup Finals in Quebec City.
Led by recently crowned World Champion, Alex Harvey, the 10-member squad along with their two World Cup coaches, will be available for interviews in the Media Centre from 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 16. There will be no formal media presentation during this time.
The Media Centre is located in the Jean-Paul Lemieux room of the Hotel Le Concorde Quebec near the race site on the Plains of Abraham.
The world’s best cross-country skiers will descend on Quebec City for the final three World Cup races of the season to determine the Crystal Globe winners, March 17-19. Athletes will compete in skate sprint, 10- and 15 kilometre mass start classic-ski races, followed by the 15- and 30-kilometre pursuit events.
