Biathlon Canada —Finnish clothing manufacturer Halti named Biathlon Canada’s official outerwear and race suit supplier—

CANMORE, Alta.—Canada’s top biathletes will be sporting new duds in their quest for the podium on nordic trails around the world, thanks to a new agreement established with Halti and Biathlon Canada on Monday.

Halti, a cutting-edged Finland-based clothing manufacturer who distributes clothing in Canada out of Whistler’s Diamond Head Sports, cemented the role of Biathlon Canada’s official outerwear and competition clothing supplier for its national team athletes through the 2017-18 season.

“Biathletes spend countless hours outside in a variety of weather conditions so we understand the importance of having access to high-tech apparel to support our goals for delivering podium performances,” said Eric de Nys, high-performance director, Biathlon Canada. “Halti is a proven performer that has a deep history in the nordic sports. They understand what our athletes need and require to achieve excellence. We are thrilled to have them on our team.”

A partner with many high-performance snow-sport teams around the world, Halti has developed and produced high-quality outdoor outfits and equipment for more than four decades. Halti will supply all warm-up gear, race suits and outerwear for the National Biathlon Teams. Our products are not only for the elite athlete, but the collection also supports everyday casual use for people who value quality clothing and authentic outdoor brand from Northern Europe.”
