Volleyball Canada – July 05, 2018 – Canada’s women’s indoor team heads to the Dominican Republic this week for the 17th edition of the Women’s Volleyball Pan American Cup, which will take place in Santo Domingo July 8 to 14 at Ricardo Arias Pavilion. 

The top five ranked teams at the end of the tournament will qualify for the Pan American Games to be held next year in Lima, Peru.

Twelve teams have been divided into three pools with defending champion United States playing in Pool B alongside Trinidad & Tobago, Cuba and Puerto Rico.

Pool A consists of Canada, Peru, Costa Rica and host Dominican Republic while Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Colombia will compete in Pool C.

Canada’s women’s team is based in Richmond, BC.
