Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame to Announce Class of 2018
Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame – Toronto, April 23, 2018 – On Thursday, April 26, 2018, Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame will announce the Class of 2018, including six Athletes, and two sport “Builders.” The media conference will be emceed by Bruny Surin, Honoured Member of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame and Olympic Gold medallist in the 4x100m relay. Induction into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame is the highest sporting honour in Canada. The individuals selected to receive this honour inspire Canadians on a local, provincial and national level that transcends sport and competition.
The Class of 2018 will be officially inducted on Thursday, October 18, 2018, during the Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame 2018 #InspireCanada Induction Celebrations at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
