Rugby Canada – Please find below & attached updates for Canada’s Men’s and Women’s National Fifteens and Sevens Teams ahead of a busy November & December schedule. I will be with Canada’s Fifteens Teams in Dublin from November 6 to 24th if you require any interviews, BROLL, photos etc. 
 
Canada’s Men’s Fifteens Team: Attached is the team announcement for their annual November Tour. Canada faces Ireland, Romania & Samoa on November 12, 19 & 25.
Storylines:
-Over 50,000 tickets have already been sold for Canada vs. Ireland on November 12 in Dublin
-Brantford, Ontario’s Aaron Carpenter is two games away from tying Al Charron for Canada’s all-time cap leader with 76 appearances. If he plays all three games on tour he will be the record leader. 
-Canada is currently ranked 18th in the world, facing off against Ireland (6th), Romania (16th) & Samoa (14th)
-This will be the first test match against Ireland & Romania since last year’s Rugby World Cup
-These games are crucial for world ranking points leading into next year’s Rugby World Cup Qualifiers against USA
 
Canada’s Women’s Fifteens Team: Attached is the team announcement for their annual November Tour to play against Ireland, New Zealand & England on November 19, 23 & 26
Storylines:
-Canada is currently ranked 2nd in the world following a 3-0 sweep of the Women’s Rugby Super Series against USA, France and England
-Kelly Russell, Elissa Alarie, Magli Harvey & Karen Paquin return to the Fifteens Team after being with the Sevens Program
-The Women’s Rugby World Cup pool draw will take place November 9 in Belfast to decide Canada’s pool opponents for next year in Dublin
 
Canada’s Men’s Sevens Team: Attached is the team announcement for the 2016-17 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, which gets underway December 2-3 in Dubai
Storylines:
-Canada will be coached by Damian McGrath (following a pending Visa approval)
-There are a lot of returning faces to Canada’s Team (Moonlight, Jones, Hirayama, Zaruba etc.)
-The 2nd annual HSBC Canada Sevens will be held at BC Place in Vancouver March 11-12, 2017. Tickets are selling incredibly well and ahead of last year’s pace. 
-Looking ahead to Tokyo 2020, Canada’s roster has a lot of young players amongst the roster
 
Canada’s Women’s Sevens Team: Attached is the team announcement for the 2016-17 HSBC World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series, which gets underway December 1-2 in Dubai
Storylines:
-Canada are fresh off winning a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Summer Games
-There are a lot of returning faces to Canada’s Team (Moleschi, Landry, Farella, Kish, Steacy etc.)
-The 3rd annual HSBC Canada Women’s Sevens will be held at Westhills Stadium in Langford, BC May 27-28, 2017. Early-bird tickets are currently on-sale and general seating opens on Monday
-Looking ahead to Tokyo 2020, Canada’s roster has a lot of young players amongst the roster
