Volleyball Canada – Rotterdam, the Netherlands. July 20, 2018: Canada plays for seventh place at the ParaVolley World Championships on Saturday (11 am local time). 

After Brazil beat Canada today 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-15), the South American team, ranked 3rd in the world currently, will face Ukraine for fifth place.

Canada plays host Netherlands to determine seventh and eighth place in the final
standings. Canada’s women’s team was 12th at the worlds in 2010, and did not qualify for the last world championships in 2014, although the women did finish seventh at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.  

Also tomorrow, Russia plays the U.S. for gold; and China faces Italy for bronze.
