Canadian Arena Soccer Association – Press Conference – Tuesday, June 27 at 11 am

 

The recently formed Canadian Arena Soccer Association (CASA) is proud to announce the formal entry of Canada in the 2018 World Arena Soccer Championship in Mexico.

On June 21^st CASA shared with Mississauga Council plans to make Mississauga’s Hershey Centre the National Headquarters and team Training Centre including player combines and an international friendly in the coming months.

With the help of Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie, CASA will be presenting key Team Canada representatives at the official announcement of on June 27 at 11 a.m. at the Mississauga City Hall (the Great Hall).

WHAT: An announcement of Canada’s formal entry into the 2018 World Arena Soccer Championship in Mexico. Other announcements include appointment of the national team head coach, the unveiling of the official Team Canada uniform, and more.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 27, 2017, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

WHERE: Mississauga City Hall (The Great Hall), 300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga.

WHO: Mayor of Mississauga Bonnie Crombie will participate in the unveiling along with key representatives (to be announced) including President of CASA, Joe Vaccaro, head coach of the National team, players and more.

WHY: Arena soccer will bring all the energy and excitement of the outdoor game into a fan friendly, arena format with live boards and non-stop action.
