CANADA ADVANCES TO FIBA U16 WOMEN’S AMERICAS CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL WITH A 64-38 WIN OVER COLOMBIA
Canada Basketball – BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA – Merissah Russell (Ottawa, ON) had 11 points and 8 rebounds, while Brynn Masikewich (Calgary, AB) added 6 points and 6 rebounds in Team Canada’s 64-38 win against Colombia at the 2017 FIBA U16 Women’s Americas Championship semi-finals. With this victory, Canada advances to the finals and will play the winner of the second semi-final game between Argentina and The United States of America.
