Call for Nominations to the CGC Board of Directors
Canada Games Council – The Canada Games Council (CGC) is seeking nominations to fill five (5) volunteer board positions with passionate individuals who are able to dedicate their time and expertise to help grow the Canada Games property, the Canada Games Movement and our Canadian sport system. If you are interested in becoming a leader with this dynamic national sport organization, you are encouraged to complete the following Candidate Nomination Form outlining your interest and experience as defined in the “2016 Call for Nominations and Information Guide”.
The completed Candidate Nomination Form and supporting documentation must be received by the Nominations Committee Chair (nominations@canadagames.ca) by midnight, Monday, May 9th, 2016.

About the Canada Games
Held once every two years, alternating between winter and summer, the Canada Games represent the highest level of national competition for up and coming Canadian athletes. The Games have been hosted in every province at least once since their inception in Quebec City during Canada’s Centennial in 1967. The Games are proud of their contribution to Canada’s sport development system in addition to their lasting legacy of sport facilities, community pride and national unity.
The organization of the Canada Games is made possible thanks to the contribution and support of the Government of Canada, provincial/territorial governments, host municipalities and the Canada Games Council.
