Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame – On Wednesday, June 22, all seven Class of 2016 inductees will come together at Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame in Calgary to help unveil the new exhibit Follow the Spirit: RIO 2016. In anticipation of the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, this exhibit features Canadian athletes who will compete this summer.

The launch of the new RIO 2016 exhibit is being held in conjunction with the annual Sport Heroes Celebration & Golf Tournament with 31 Honoured Members attending from across North America including Cassie Campbell-Pascall, Serge Savard, Margaret Southern and Mark Tewksbury along with the Class of 2016. This one-of-a-kind two day charity event supports Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame’s national youth education programs.

June 22 is Calgary’s only opportunity to meet the Class of 2016 inductees who will officially be inducted during Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame 2016 Induction Celebrations Presented by Canadian Tire on November 1. Induction into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame is the country’s highest sporting honour.
