BRONZE FOR KARATEKA KATE CAMPBELL AT THE DUTCH OPEN!
Karate Canada – Canada’s Senior National Team Roster athletes competed at the Dutch Open Karate 1 Championships in Rotterdam (Netherlands) March 19th and 20th. In kata, most athletes went through several rounds, and Kenneth Lee ended up in 7th position. Canada’s best result goes to TO2015 Pan Am Games silver medalist Kate Campbell who earned a bronze medal in women’s -55kg kumite division. We salute the great work of our athletes, who are working diligently in preparation for the Senior Pan American Karate Championships (May, Brazil) and the Senior World Championships (October, Austria).
