BC Rugby – There’s less than a week until the 2018 BC Rugby Hall of Fame Dinner, set to take place on January 13th at Element Vancouver Metrotown.  The evening will centre around the induction of five esteemed individuals from the BC Rugby community, whose commitment to the game both on and off the field have been of immeasurable benefit to growing the sport of rugby in this province.  This year’s inductees are Ian Birtwell, Ruth Hellerud-Brown, Alan Hudson, Winston Stanley and Scott Stewart.

But wait, there are more exciting details that BC Rugby is delighted to reveal.  It is with great pleasure that we announce the involvement of Emmy-winning journalist Chris Gailus, who will be master of ceremonies for the event.  Chris is a familiar face to many across the province from his regular role as co-anchor, alongside Sophie Lui, on Global News Hour at 6 on Global BC.

The evening will also involve a live auction, headlined by a Langara Fishing Adventure for two, as well as a buffet dinner and raffle.  More details on auction and raffle items will be made available later in the week, but safe to say there are some fantastic prizes on offer.
