Athletics Canada – Ottawa – Athletics Canada, in partnership with the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) and City of Toronto, will host a press conference in advance of its Nathan Phillips Square Track Takeover on Tuesday, June 12.

The four-hour event, which gets underway at 10 a.m. with a Run, Jump, Throw, Wheel clinic for youth aged 6-12, will give fans an unbelievable experience and the opportunity to meet some of the biggest names in Canadian track and field, and witness some of the world’s top athletes compete within arm’s reach. At the conclusion of the high-performance exhibition that will feature the 60-metre sprint, high jump and pole vault, Athletics Canada and Canadian sprint sensation Andre De Grasse will open the 60-metre Mondo track to anybody across the GTA for a chance to win a pair of Championships Passes to the 2018 NACAC Championships (Toronto 2018: Track & Field in the 6ix) as part of the All Comers Speed Challenge.
