CCES – (Ottawa, Ontario – May 6, 2016) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced today that under the rules of the Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP), it has asserted an anti-doping rule violation against Jonathan Fortin, a Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) athlete affiliated with Bishop’s University. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during out-of-competition doping control on March 9, 2016, revealed the presence of Methandienone, a prohibited anabolic agent.
