Swim Nova Scotia​ – Winnipeg, MB- Day five of the 2017 Canada Summer Games brought many more personal best times to Team Nova Scotia at Winnipeg’s Pan Am Pool! 

Lucas Seto swam three individual consolation final events this evening in addition to the relay event.  Lucas finished with a personal best time in the 200m Individual Medley with a time of 2:15.35, where he finished eleventh.  He also swam the 50m Freestyle, where he finished tenth with a 25.39 and the 50m Backstroke with a fourteenth-place finish in a 30.21.

The men’s relay finished sixth overall (Benjamin Mingo, Matthew Croft, Lucas Seto, Riley Allen) with a time of 4:11.06.  The women’s relay (Hanna Mountford, Ava Vial, Isabelle Dearnaley, Madison Archer) finished seventh in a time of 4:33.23.

On the women’s side, Madison Archer finished sixth in the women’s 800m Freestyle with a time of 9:21.45.

Competition wraps up tomorrow with the 5km open water pool event.  The event will be taking place at the Pan Am Pool with competition beginning at 9:00am.  Nova Scotia will be represented by Hayden Bartoch, Nicholas Bourbonniere, Grace Earle and Madison Archer.
