ACA September Update

Alpine Canada Alpin – Alpine Canada is pleased to release its annual report. Highlights from the report state that during the 2017-18 season, ACA’s athletes have hit the podium 34 times on the World Cup circuit. In addition, a total of 13 Olympic and Paralympic medals were won by our Canadian athletes, numerous Nor-Am titles and a few Crystal Globes. It includes a wrap-up of all coaching and development programs, underlines major events initiated by or in collaboration with Alpine Canada, and provides recognition for the amazing accomplishments by members of our team. Highlighting the amazing impact of our donors and sponsors, it is a detailed financial report for our organization.

Alpine Canada is on a mission to raise $1.5M in donations to support its teams and athletes for the 2018-2019 race season. To reach this ambitious goal, the organization is hosting three Podium Club fundraising events.   Read More

This fall, SIRC (the Sport Information Resource Centre) is launching a concussion awareness campaign- Headstrong Canada- to promote concussion management in sport. Sport Canada and Health Canada have just released the latest guidelines using a Concussion Awareness Toolkit which is designed to give every sport organization the tools they need to show they are concussion smart.
