It was truly a remarkable beginning to the League1 Ontario 2018 Men’s Championship playoffs group stage, with the top seeds in both Group A and B being beaten at home. The nominations for South and East Regional Directors recently closed, concluding the nominations process for potential candidates to serve on the Board of Directors of Ontario Soccer. Ontario Soccer Summit 2019 ticket pricing has been released | |
Ontario Soccer is pleased to announce ticket pricing for the Ontario Soccer Summit 2019, in partnership with Respect in Sport. Tickets will go on sale Nov. 1, 2018 and the full roster of 2019 speakers will be revealed at that time, but to assist Clubs, Academies, Districts and Leagues in their planning, the options for purchasing passes to Ontario Soccer Summit 2019 have been released publicly. 2018-2019 Female Mentorship applications now open | |
Ontario Soccer is committed to supporting and developing female coaches in Ontario, through creating a professional and successful mentorship program that will respond to the needs and aspirations of the many outstanding female soccer coaches practicing in Ontario, both now and in the years ahead. The Female Mentorship Program is part of a holistic support system approach and is one more component on Ontario Soccer’s commitment to Long-Term Player Development (LTPD), under the guidance of Canada Soccer. Ontario Soccer is continuously looking for experienced and passionate technical leaders with progressive approaches who can help shape the new Player and Coach Development pathway and is now asking for applications for Learning Facilitators (LFs) for 2018-2019. Ontario Soccer’s LF holds a tremendously important role in implementing the delivery of the current Long Term Player Development (LTPD) pathway. Over 20,000 soccer leaders now certified in Activity Leader program | |
Ontario Soccer is continuing to show that the safety of their athletes and participants are a priority to the community. This week, Respect in Sport revealed that Ontario Soccer has surpassed 20,000 certifications in the Respect in Sport Activity Leader program.
