U SPORTS – TORONTO (U Sports) – They are the two most decorated programs in Canadian university football history and, almost a decade after they first battled for U SPORTS supremacy in Hamilton, one of them will add to its impressive trophy collection following the 53rd ArcelorMittal Dofasco Vanier Cup on Saturday.

Representatives of the Mitchell Bowl champion Laval Rouge et Or and the Uteck Bowl champion Western Mustangs will be available to the media at a news conference tomorrow, November 23rd inside Tim Hortons Field at 10 a.m. ET.

The Rouge et Or are seeking back-to-back national championships and their 10th ArcelorMittal Dofasco Vanier Cup since 1999, while the Mustangs are looking to lift the prestigious trophy for the first time since 1994 in their 13th appearance in the national championship match.

Kickoff for the 53rd ArcelorMittal Dofasco Vanier Cup between the undefeated Western Mustangs (11-0) and the defending national champion Laval Rouge et Or (10-1) is set for 1 p.m. Eastern / 10 a.m. Pacific at Tim Hortons Field, which hosts the event for the second straight year.
