KidSport Winnipeg – What:

Camp:     
The 2-day hockey camp is open to boys and girls ages 5-12 and features both skater and goalie specific training sessions. Scheifele, along with coaches from Jets Hockey Development, will provide kids with introductory and advanced on-ice and multi-sport training. Michael Hutchinson will lead the goalie specific training sessions on both days along with Eric Comrie. Over the 2 days, Josh Morrissey, Kyle Connor, Jack Roslovic, JC Lipon, Quinton Howden and Andrew Murray will also assist with on and off-site training. The hockey camp is in support of KidSport Winnipeg and all proceeds will go towards paying the registration fees for kids from financially disadvantaged families so they can participate in sport.

KidSport is a national charity administered in Manitoba by Sport Manitoba which provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport. KidSport believes that no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports.
