Football Canada – Eight teams from coast to coast to compete in seven day tournament

Calgary, AB (July 15, 2018) – Teams from across the nation will converge in Calgary, Alberta over the weekend in anticipation of the 2018 Football Canada Cup.
Eight teams will compete for the national championship during the seven days of the tournament at Shouldice Field.
 
It kicks off on Monday July 14th with four games.  It begins with second seeded Saskatchewan battling seventh ranked Manitoba at 10:00am MST.  Then in a rematch, third ranked Ontario squares off against sixth seeded Nova Scotia at 1:00pm MST.
 
Defending national champions Quebec take on eighth ranked New Brunswick at 4:00pm MST.  Finally, fourth seeded and host  Alberta will entertain fifth ranked British Columbia at 7:30pm MST.
 
At last year’s tournament held in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.  Quebec won gold, Saskatchewan earned silver and Ontario took home bronze.
 
Game Day 2 will be on Thursday July 19th while the medal/placement round is Sunday June 22, 2018.
