Position(s): 1 Athlete Institute Internship (Co-Op) Opportunities

Type of Position: 4 month full-time Internship / Co-Op

Dates:  Fall – September 2022 to December 2022

  • Winter – January 2023 to April 2023
  • Summer – May 2023 to August 2023

Compensation: $400 per month honorarium

Location: Mono, ON (Orangeville) or Hybrid (in-person & virtual)

The Sport Sales & Business Intern will work closely with the Director of Athletics and Athletics Coordinator and collaborate with others to accomplish a variety of sales & business goals for the Athlete Institute which includes Basketball Academy, Football Club and Camps to name a few. 


  • Develop & monitor summer camp sales funnel, follow-up on leads and close sales
  • Communicate via phone or email with potential leads to ensure customer service level is high
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications staff on developing content for multiple social media channels (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)
  • Create and send email marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with Director of Athletics on recruiting events, reviewing website content, develop athlete services presentations and updating registration process
  • Assist with game day event execution and other special events
  • General administrative support for the management team & other duties as assigned

  • Willing to work some evenings and weekends (will know in advance)
  • A passion for sport (basketball and soccer) and knowledge of the Canadian basketball and or soccer landscape is an asset
