General Manager – Hockey Academy
Summary of responsibilities:
The General Manager reports to the Managing Director and is accountable for the overall performance of the hockey academy including revenue generation, student athlete recruitment, fiscal management, program development and the day to day program operations.
Primary accountabilities include:
• Fiscal accountability
• Staff management
• Recruiting / Retention
• Partnership management
• Customer service
• Quality management of the Hockey Academy program
• Event management
Qualifications: The successful candidate demonstrates excellent leadership skills as a mentor, team builder and developer of corporate structure and executing on business strategies and
achieving results. In addition they have experience in the execution of sound fiscal management processes for the development and execution of financial forecasts, budgets, and management
reporting and expense management. They must also demonstrate strong communication, administrative, organization, time management skills and conflict management skills.
Additional qualifications include:
● German and English Languages are preferred. Written and oral. Other languages are an asset.
● Coach Experience is an asset
● Class B Driver’s license
● Prior experience of working and living in Europe
● Ability to work within a multicultural business environment
● Ability to relocate to St. Pölten Austria
● Ability to lead and manage a staff of up to 20
● EU Citizenship or Austrian residence permit preferred
