You will help define and bring to life the Tennis Canada brand along with selected endorsed sub-brands. You will ensure Tennis Canada’s interests are protected and advanced, much like any other ‘sponsor.’ This role relates directly to creating strategies, plans and tactics for the Tennis Canada brand, the Star Player brand and all grassroots sub-brands, and indirectly to activating the TC, Stars and Grassroots brands via the tournament brands.

Your main responsabilities will be:

Brand definition, strategy and standards

  • Responsible of Brand strategy & management: naming, guidelines, etc..
  • Work on strategies to bring to life and bring to market the related brands;
  • Work with the brand agency to plan and execute campaign initiatives, manage chosen individual activations throughout the year;
  • Develop and help enforce brand standards for all related brands and act as a brand gatekeeper;
  • Develop tools and templates to make adherence to the brand standards easy and valuable for all stakeholders.
  • Work with the Office Manager to ensure TC’s brand and activation needs are brought to life in all TC offices, and at on-site and off-site TC events.
  • Work with the internal creative studio and act as the gatekeeper of the TC brands.

Activation and management of staff/key stakeholder, provincial and sponsor relations

  • Communicate with and train staff and key stakeholders (volunteers, interns, contractors) on branding and messaging;
  • Act as the day-to-day PTA liaison for brand and the MARCOM agency, support the PTA’s in achieving their objectives, balance needs with TC’s brand attribution activities;
  • Lead the TC-PTA Marketing Taskforce;
  • Work with Corporate Partnerships to ensure TC brand and activation opportunities are reinforced;
  • Work with Tennis Development/High-performance and Participation services to ensure TC brand consistency throughout grassroot.
  • Manage the Brand & the Participation survey and ensure KPI measurements & objectives

TC Campaigns

  • Develop and execute the strategic deployment of a marketing omni-channel campaign (traditional and digital media) specific to the business objectives determined for the Participation and High-performance departments.
  • Develop marketing campaigns including: strategy & briefing, creative development, production, in-market launch and postmortem.
  • Responsible with the collaboration of the media agency, of campaigns media optimization & reporting (paid & SEM).
  • Identify relevant performance indicators, analyze campaign data, write and interpret performance reports;
  • Participate in research and data analysis, as well as in the production of performance reports to support decision-making.
  • Ensure to respect campaigns deadlines and manage marketing budget for which he/she is responsible for.


  • Bachelor’s Degree (required), marketing (preferred) or business;
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar or in a marketing role;
  • 3-4 years of management experience
  • Bilingual and excellent communications skills, both spoken and written, customer-service skills;
  • Strong organizational, time and project management, solution & detailed oriented skills;
  • Ability to work with a team as well as independently, ability to take initiative;
  • Excellent leadership skills, ability to lead various projects and people all at once;
  • Excellent knowledge of managing mix media including traditional and digital media (required)
  • Mastering Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook ads, digital paid media;
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising (asset);
  • Knowledge of the Tennis industry (asset);
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel;
