Canada Basketball – The U16 Women tipped-off their summer season with a 89-38 win against Venezuela at the 2017 FIBA U16 Americas Championship in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Brynn Masikewich (Calgary, Alberta) led the team with 17 points and 6 rebounds while Merissah Russell (Ottawa, Ontario) had 15 points and 7 rebounds.
