EDMONTON (U SPORTS) –Saskatchewan’s Michelle Harrison, Sherbrooke’s Arian Dubois and Karson Lehner and Guelph’s Mark Bujnowski were honoured Thursday morning as the U SPORTS Track and Field Athletes of the Year, as the national season award winners were celebrated at the annual awards luncheon.   On the women’s side, Harrison was named the outstanding performer in track events, Dubois captured field MVP honours, Laval’s Audrey Leduc earned the Rookie of the Year and Calgary’s Madeleine Brown took home the Student-Athlete Community Service Award.   In men’s competition, the recipients included Lehner (Track MVP), Bujnowski (field MVP), Regina’s Scott Joseph (Rookie of the Year) and Calgary’s Eric Lutz (Student-Athlete Community Service Award).

EDMONTON (U SPORTS) – Michelle Harrison, de Saskatchewan, Ariane Dubois, de Sherbrooke, KarsonLehner, de Saskatchewan, et Mark Bujnowski, de Guelph, ont été honorés jeudi matin en tant qu’athlètes d’athlétisme U SPORTS de l’année, lors du dîner annuel de remise des prix.   Lauréats précédents   Du côté féminin, Harrison a été nommée meilleure athlète de piste, Dubois a remporté le titre de meilleure athlète de pelouse, Audrey Leduc de Laval a été nommée recrue de l’année et Madeleine Brown de Calgary a reçu le prix de l’engagement communautaire.   Chez les hommes, les lauréats sont Lehner (meilleur athlète de piste), Bujnowski (meilleur athlète de pelouse), Scott Joseph de Regina (recrue de l’année) et Eric Lutz de Calgary (prix de l’engagement communautaire).   Les Championnats d’athlétisme U SPORTS 2020, organisés par les Golden Bears et les Pandas de l’Alberta, commencent jeudi à 16 h (heure de l’Est) et se terminent samedi à 13 h (heure du Pacifique).
