Competition Wraps Up at the 2017 Speedo CAN-AM Para Swimming Championships
Swim Nova Scotia – Windsor (ON)– Canada’s top Para swimmers wrapped up competition yesterday at the 2017 Speedo CAN-AM Para Swimming Championships that took place March 31-April 2 at the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre in Windsor, Ontario.
2016 Paralympian, Danial Murphy of the Truro Centurions Swim Club (TCSC) along with Natasha Sexton Quillan and Holly Doucette of the Sackville Waves Aquatic Team (SWAT) were Nova Scotia’s three swimmers in attendance amongst 160 other competitors.
The Can Am Championships will serve alongside the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games as a qualifier for the upcoming 2017 World Para Swimming Championships that are set to take place in Mexico City September 30-October 6, 2017.
