(Ottawa, Ontario – March 5, 2020) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced today that Alexis Barrière, a boxing athlete, received a five-month sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during out-of-competition doping control on January 14, 2019, revealed the presence of stanozolol, a prohibited anabolic agent.

(Ottawa, Ontario – le 5 mars 2020) – Le Centre canadien pour l’éthique dans le sport (CCES) a annoncé aujourd’hui qu’Alexis Barrière, un athlète de boxe, s’est vu imposer une suspension de cinq mois pour une violation des règles antidopage. L’échantillon d’urine de l’athlète, prélevé dans le cadre d’un contrôle du dopage hors compétition le 14 janvier 2019, a révélé la présence de stanozolol, un agent anabolisant interdit.
