For Teachers

• The collective trauma that children may carry with them as they return to school and community programs, coupled with significant change and uncertainty, can be overwhelming during critical stages of their development. Given these circumstances, there is a need for program staff, coaches, and teachers to integrate trauma-sensitive strategies to meet children where they are and accommodate their unique needs.
• The PHE Home Learning Centre has been assembled by PHE Canada to support educators during this unprecedented time in continuing to offer quality physical and health education learning experiences under the new paradigm of online educational delivery within a home setting.
• The PHE Spotlight Series is a series of free, virtual professional development workshops to support and advance quality physical and health education both now, under the current at-home learning environment, and when we return to school.
