The PNC is a member of the staff team for Canada’s most successful para program. The PNC will support and take on responsibilities to enable the Para-Nordic program to grow, innovate and continue to succeed on the world stage and in Canada. The PNC is central to liaising with partners, including athletes, coaches, Divisions, the Canadian Paralympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee.  The PNC is integrated into the operations team; tasks are shared within the team as appropriate.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works with partners to recruit and develop athletes, coaches, officials and programs across Canada
  • Provides support to the High Performance program and team
  • Provides logistics support and liaison for team training and competition, meetings, classification, equipment and inventory
  • Maintains data and drafts reports
  • Provides marketing and communications support for Para-Nordic
  • Supports financial management, including posting of revenues and expenses and assisting with budget tasks


  • Relevant diploma, degree or two years of job-related experience
  • Ability to understand and work within high performance sport
  • Superior communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic book-keeping, including Quickbooks
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, social media, online collaboration tools, website content management; and the ability to learn new programs quickly
  • Bilingualism a highly sought asset
