Team Sport Field Specialist Job Description About Mizuno Canada Mizuno Canada, Inc.'s roots stem from its parent company Mizuno Corporation. Mizuno Corporation was established in Osaka, Japan in 1906 by Rihachi Mizuno. Today, Mizuno Canada is located in Mississauga Ontario and continues to manufacture and distribute high quality golf, baseball, softball, running, track & field and volleyball equipment, apparel, and footwear. Qualifications: • Knowledge of sporting goods industry. (Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Swim and Soccer) • Retail experience an asset • Bilingual an asset • University/College Degree Team Sport Field Specialist Activities 1. Co-ordinate, activate and execute Mizuno’s Servicing of selected partners and Key Retailers mainly in Ontario. (includes but not limited to Provincial Softball, Volleyball and Baseball Bodies in Canada, CIS Teams and Events, OVA Events, VBC Events. Service entails, Interface with customers and consumers directly, Team Fittings, demos, working floor of retailer, attending events put on by retailer) Execution time 55%. 2. Work schedule will be based on need but expected that three weekends out of each month will be event or retail driven. This will be planed out based on event schedule but hours each week and not limited to the following example. Sunday and Monday off, Tuesday through Saturday work hours. Some evening and Sunday work will be necessary to complete tasks. 3. Travel. Three main events on the schedule already in 2020 that will need to be attended. Various trade shows and sales meetings throughout each season interfacing with our dealers will be required These events are over a week and travel to and from event will be necessary. 4. Provide input, implement, execute sales activities to build Mizuno Team Sports brand equity and to fuel demand for Mizuno products with consumers and customers. Execution time 10%. 5. Assist in gathering consumer feedback on product trends and ideas during key events. Execution time 5%. 6. Managing National Account service calls and some small account sales management, Product Knowledge manuals and training. Collaborate with in-store management teams to maximize sell through opportunities; increase sales associate product knowledge and selling skills through one-on-one coaching. Execution time 20%. 7. Other activities deemed necessary for the Director of Sales and Marketing Team. Execution time 5% 8. Aid Customer Service Department when needed to help with Order Entry, Management of orders and calling key customers partners about special events. Execution Time 5%
