PLACEMENT REQUIREMENTS

➢        Grade 12 education

  • Successful completion of a recognized administrative course
  • Strong computer skills, specific to Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in written form
  • Resilient, flexible team player

EXTENT OF SUPERVISION

  • Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer through the Manager, Administration

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

ROTATION ADMINISTRATION

Assist the BC Hockey membership via phone calls and various email inboxes related to but not limited to:

  • Registration
  • Certifications
  • Championships
  • Awards and Scholarships
  • Membership
  • Clinics

TASKS

 Perform administrative duties as assigned through tasks

  • Clinic requests
  • Player transfers
  • Minor and Above Minor teams (carded and recreational) as assigned
  • Process Associate membership applications
  • Process Membership Applications
  • Prepare weekly reports for Coaching and Officiating
  • Create Exhibition, Tournament and Player relief teams

GENERAL OFFICE DUTIES

  • Utilize BC Hockey and Hockey Canada handbooks and manuals
  • Format and distribute correspondence
  • Assist with large mailings
  • Assist with off-site meeting administration as required
  • Weekend hours may be required.
  • Assist with shipping and travel
  • Assist with Insurance tasks as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
