| Green Infrastructure
Going green is a catch-phrase we are hearing more and more these days and it is becoming increasingly important to embrace it both in our personal life and in the sports industry. Using renewable or recycled materials or just conserving water can be the first step to reducing our carbon footprint. Whether it is the bitter cold of winter or the steaming hot summer, sport facilities can embrace new innovations that can help regulate building temperatures while going green. In our daily lives we can go green by walking or cycling to reduce emissions.
SIRC has compiled a list of resources to help you and your organizations get on the path to greener sport.

| Ask A SIRC Librarian |
| SIRC members have access to SIRC librarians and we are pleased to share some of your questions.
Dear SIRC Librarian:
We are bidding to host a multi-sport event and know that we have to incorporate an environmental sustainability component into our documentation. Is there anything out there that can help us with this aspect of our bid?
Thanks,
Jennifer
